PRIVATE WAR OR DEBATING / CONTENDING FOR THE FAITH?

Some time back I had a particular church goer write to me and accuse me of holding a private war. It was apparent to him that I was holding a private war against church groups and that I was jealous of the huge amounts of monies and possessions that certain church leaders and their associates have. The word apparent means seemingly but not in reality.............and this is most assuredly the case. When Jesus is your portion there is no personal war or private war..........just a sweet anointing. Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus!

How could a spiritual man whoever he may be or she, if she be woman, be jealous of someone who has abundant natural possessions when that person has forsaken such trivial gain. You can never forsake the hunger for the earths goods, comforts and applauses till Father grants it and that will never be done until Father looks down and sees that you have taken him as your portion.........Hebrews 11:24-27.

No matter what my earthly or heavenly inheritance be, he..........Jesus, is the portion or the one above it always. No matter what my cup may hold or be in this life on a daily basis he / Jesus has been placed above it all at my surrender and my choice to allow Jesus to.........reign in me.........Matthew 10:32-42.

God told Elijah that there was still 7,000 who were at war with charlatans, peddlers of his word, con men and women, false prophets, teachers and shepherds. No dear reader, Paul Sheehan has no private war going with dens of thieves, liars, false prophets, hirelings and laodecian lecturers, he has just taken the baton of old, the baton passed down through the ages, the baton with repent and be forgiven written on it. The baton of no compromise, the baton of holiness and seperation unto God / Yahweh.......the spirit of Elijah........Jeremiah 23:29.

The baton that says, you will be hated by all men and women who live in sin and make concessions for it in their houses of merchandise. See?........dear reader, Paul Sheehan has no private war going, there was 7,000 involved in the days of Elijah and only God knows how many dare to take the baton today.........Matthew 10:22.

If Jesus was not my portion I would be like the many, bound by jealouscy, greed, compromise, lukewarmness, deception, cowardice, people pleasing and a friend, a welcomed friend of that dreaded plague called...........sin!...............1 Peter 4:1.

My God maintains my lot, the whole lot, all that concerns me today, it is he who is my shepherd, it is he who is the one who is lord over me and my life and my house. I therefore have a maintenance man that is without restriction, he maintains my lot. I don't tithe, I don't teach a millionaire messiah nor do I trick my congregation into given me money. Yet I live in a brand new home, drive a new car and give all literature, audio, video and counsel free from financial charge.

The just shall walk by faith not positive thinking not negative thinking not thinking at all but believing / faith / obedience to Jesus words, living in obedience to the victor Emmanuel. Fight the fight, run the race and keep the faith!....
