BELIEVERS, FOLLOWERS AND CHARLES STANLEY.

Is a believer, a follower? is the simple question. Once again we have the ye old baptist organisation by way of Charles Stanley (spokesman on the "In Touch" programme who is well known and highly regarded throughout the world for his many paged books and expositions of bible scripture) telling half truths.

The baptist organisation are hell bent and I do say (hell) bent on handing out concession cards for sin and the lightly lightly approach to the saving of ones soul. The soft soap remedy for sin as brother Wilson puts it.

As I said the subject today is............is a believer a follower?......and if a believer is not a follower we clearly say God has double standards don't we?

Whoever believes.....will be saved, there can be no dispute about it. Now, the follower is also saved according to scripture..............John 10:27, 28.

Mr Stanley says this...."you may be a believer and saved but not a follower and miss out on all the blessings".............. .....Briz31 Television...  290204...........selah!..Hence a believer is not obligated to obey the word in order to be saved.

How can we be a believer and not a follower? In fact, reality and in biblical terms a believer is a follower; is the one who obeys Jesus; is the one who is without sin, known sin, is holy, is in right standing with Father and is not an overcomer but more than an overcomer. Those who endure to the end shall be saved and this is the victory that has overcome the whole world......our faith/obedience to the Christ. To obey is to walk in the way of the Christ, in the light not the darkness of sin but the light of holiness...........amen!.............(click here).

Charles in distinguishing between believer and follower clearly places the meaning of believer in the category of mere head space. Brother Wilson my yokefellow in the Christ says it this way............believe with your head on Jesus and lie with your mouth his lordship and you are (not saved) saved.........(click here)

Whereas a believer is actually one who obeys, follows and loves to subject themselves to the Lamb because he died for them......ref/ 1 Peter 1:22, Galatians 5:7, 8.

Yes, a believer is a follower and you can never be a follower unless you are a believer, they are one and the same. Just as the bride, the church, the holy remnant and the saints are one and the same. Are you a saint, believer, follower?

One who truly believes follows and one who does not believe, will not follow (obey) because they trust not him who told them........come to me!....Hebrews 5:9.

While we are on the subject of the hybrid gospel, let me share another one of brother Wilson's quotes..'the hybrid gospel begets a cross breed of flesh and spirit, hot and cold' i.e lukewarm.

The end resulting in being vomited out of the mouth of the head of the only holy church. Charles has no doubt lost his touch but I doubt whether he was ever....In Touch.......with the real gospel that sets souls free from (known) sin, what's your conclusion I'm very interested to hear from you.(click here)
