DOCTOR TO DOCTOR.....

Just a quick testimony on the way through, a letter
of encouragement for the beloved of Mashiah.
On the 20.07.2007 I received a phone call from a particular
Doctor/MD from south of Brisbane City requesting a book that
I wrote in 1998/They Labour In Vain.......click.
Although this man did not know the significance of his call
we at JTCM were surely blessed again to hear his story.
Because the book had an old mail address on it he was not
able to contact us so he pressed in and on determined to
find the writer of the book. After he made a number of phone
calls he found a printing company in another city that was
able to give him our number. Seek and you will find,
persistence is possession.
The beauty of the entire testimony is....during our mid-week
bible teaching we were looking at the passage of "the ten
lepers" where only one came back, all because that
is where his heart was, a grateful leper indeed.
The other 9 lepers were too busy showing themselves to the
priests for their social clearance in preparation for
entering back into society, what a wonder filled parable
is the ten lepers.....click
The strangest part of all was that the book was placed in
the doctors hand by, wait for it....a Mormon (no, the
doctor is not a Mormon). In fact he is wanting to
help them (as I do) that they may become followers of
Jesus the Christ (alive) not Joseph Smith (deceased). Just for the records, we
have not distributed "They Labour In Vain"
in bulk, for at least 7 years, however the truth does
prevail and it never grows old. Maybe it's time for another
batch to go out?
The doctors report on the book was ..."I was very touched
and moved by your book and I rang to ask you for copies of
this book that I may distribute them". Doctor T
grew up in the word and comes from a 'fire and brimstone'
Methodist background.
Doctor T. has since received books, DVD-docs and tracts to
distribute, he has also read our statement of faith and
relishes in it whole heartedly......Matthew 10:34-42.
Could this be the origin of 'Surgery Ministries' ....MD/AD?
Our dear doctor was obviously one who believed in the report
of the book "They Labour In Vain" and was blessed due
to the prescribed medicine therein......Proverbs 30:8......click.
The funny thing is my mum was going to call me John when I
was born but she changed her mind (or God did) at the
last moment and she decided with my dad to call me Paul
after the radio serial in those days called "Dr.
Paul"...(1957)........click.
"My word goes out says Yah and it never returns empty
handed!!!!. Amen |
