IF ANYONE TEACHES OTHERWISE AND DOES NOT CONSENT TO WHOLESOME
WORDS EVEN THE WORDS OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST AND TO .. THE DOCTRINE .. WHICH IS ACCORDING
TO GODLINESS, HE IS PROUD KNOWING NOTHING BUT IS OBSESSED WITH DISPUTES AND ARGUMENTS OVER
WORDS FROM WHICH COME ENVY, STRIFE, REVILING, EVIL SUSPICIONS ... 1 TIMOTHY 6:3,4. |
ACCORDING TO WHAT?.. GODLINESS
Godliness
can never be mistaken for worldliness neither can the doctrines of the Christ be the
same as the doctrines of men, they are worlds apart.
When Messiah rode into Jerusalem upon the colt of a donkey, a borrowed animal, it is
clearly understood that Jesus wasn't on earth to join the Jerusalem Democrates or the
Apostolic Networking Workshop which was situated in the upper room of the Roman Catholic
Diocese, opposite the AOG Ecumenical Centre.
If we teach otherwise or anything other than what is compiled within the doctrine of the
Christ or anything that is not in line with Godliness, Paul the apostle says that we would
have to be proud and ignorant... verse 4.
According to Godliness .. is a mammoth quote but it is touchable and
understandable, to the least in His Kingdom/House... Matthew 11:25.
The apostle Paul goes on to talk about Godliness and contentment and all along the way he
has .. error and greed coupled together and on the other side of the coin he has .. Godliness
and contentment. He makes mention of food and clothing and the love of money and
shows us all that Godliness with contentment is great gain yet the lust and love for money
always leads the soul into great sorrow and an abandonment of the faith instead of
self.
So I ask the question.. is the prosperity gospel, word of faith teachings of the
Hollywood ministers from God?.. is the doctrine the Christs?.. does it lead people into
Godliness of worldliness?.. and finally does it make for arrogant and proud persons?.. That
barely preach without crying money!
If its not His doctrine, withdraw yourself from such as these, was the counsel of the
apostle and saint, Paul. For it is this type of people that see the precious word of God
as a means of gain not Godliness. Their interest is self and their god is their belly. The
best of cloths, jewels, cars, houses, the best they say and are by no means behind the
doors saying it. This is neither a dispute or an argument over words but concerns complete
doctrines, which lead people astray. Paul the apostle says that those who are lovers of
money suppose that being Godly makes for financial gain.. he says these are in fact destitute
of the truth... 1 Timothy 6:5-7.. if they think or teach in this way.
There is a fine line between false teaching and true teaching at times but there
still remains a great gulf between hell and heaven. St Paul told Timothy to flee .. such
things .. the love of money, lusting for gain, other doctrines besides Lord Jesus no
matter how tasty they sound... 1 Timothy 6:11.
Ultimately, if the doctrine/teaching points at the earth and not heaven and the
cross, call a cab and get out of the place and if there's no cabs on the rank run as fast
as you can... praise Him.. amen.
