SEEING.............. IS BELIEVING!

This particular scripture relates to the abominations in the temple of God .... is it any different in the churches today?.. lets see.

Ezekiel was about twelve months into his ministry as a prophet of God Almighty. As we go along lets remember that the prophet speaks to the people for God and the priest spoke to God for the people.

What were the abominations in the temple? . . there was idolatry, the worshipping of the sun, in general .. their hearts were not given over to their God.. Yah! ... John 7:17.

No one knows what goes on behind closed doors but Jesus does. The door that I am relating to is the door of the heart. Within chapter eight of Ezekiel we find that in all areas there was unfaithfulness going on amongst Gods people. ..... Matthew 24:1-10.

• There was an idol at the gate.. verse five.

• There were elders of the house of God worshipping wall paintings.. verse ten.

• There were women of God weeping for a Babylonian god.. verse fourteen.

• There were men of God with their backs to the temple and their faces to the sun worshipping it.. verse sixteen.

In all of this we still have the fact .. they were all churchgoers, they were all believers in God and they continually returned to the temple as per usual. But in their own time and in private and in secret, they all had their own fetish that they loved more than their creator.. V/12

The saddest part of the whole chapter is in verse twelve, which says .. For they say.. the Lord does not see us, the Lord has forsaken the land.

In the busy world we live amongst the pushing and grabbing, day after day satan deceives many into thinking Jesus can't see us. By his smooth language, his campaigns of unity without truth and his once saved always saved doctrines which are responsible for most of the backslidings, he, subtly turns multitudes from the way called straight. Does your church have an appearance of Godliness and deny the power of the church, Lord Jesus via Holy Ghost?

Can you see what's going on in the churches, if you can't it is probably because you are right in the thick of it. Come out from among them and be separated.. says the Lord!.. amen.
