Comment by Pastor Paul Sheehan: To start with I do not subscribe to the Meyer Family magazine, this particular copy was sent to me with no address on the back of the envelope which speaks for itself..........doesn't it? It was very interesting actually to see how many times Mrs Meyer had her photo displayed, it was as if she was suffering from ........L.O.A.....that is lack of attention. I counted 14 different shots of this humble woman and of course there was Mr Dave Meyer tucked away in the background as per usual with his nuggets. What I want to say is this with regards to the quote of Mrs M....about getting in the game, I hope Mrs M.......is not refering to the race of faith, the christian walk, the ministry of the Christ or the carrying of our cross because if she is........I doubt if she is even born-AGAIN........2 Corinthians 6:3-18.
I would dare say that Mrs Meyer has a problem that is larger than life. It is not for us to develop power, it is our job to develop discipline so that holy ghost power is able to be defused through us........Mark 8:34 The character of God / Yah can never be developed in us while we are photo snapping our profiles, more concerned about colour co-ordinated offices and clothing than we are about the cross and Him crucified and once again the price tags are chunky. The advertising is as such......... DO YOU HAVE A PROBLEM THAT IS LARGER THAN LIFE?......WE LOVE YOU!......WE ARE GOING TO TELL YOU HOW TO GET OUT OF YOUR PROBLEM....BUT!......ITS GOING TO COST YOU MY LOVELY FRIEND....$50 BUCKS!...AND IF YOU DON'T SEND THE DOSH WELL YOU WILL JUST HAVE TO STAY IN YOUR PROBLEM.......GOD IS LOVE!....AND WE'RE PRAYING FOR YOU. SEE, WE HAVE THE SECRET BUT ITS GOING TO COST YOU $50 BUCKS.WE LOVE YOU!.WE ARE PRAYING FOR YOU AND GOD BLESS YA REAL GOOD ME LOVELIES......(character of God)..
I suppose what really caught my attention most of all was that I noticed not one thing in Mrs Meyer's business catolgue was without a price tag.........not even her teaching notes thay had a price too...is this love? Get in the game don't sit on the sidelines of life wishing you could play....sounds more like an advert for a Casino or Stock Exchange ploy. I find that St Mark said very clearly what men and women were to do in order to be of any heavenly use.......deny yourself of sin, pick up your cross and follow him / Jesus.......Mark 8:34 If this simple command was to be obeyed you would be amazed at the results. You will no longer sit in conferences you will be on the front line where the bullets are flying and the swords clanging, where the meanest of hells angels hangout.......... ............the cross takes no casualties. Do you want to make an indelible mark on the world you live in?...give up your sin life, pick up your cross and follow Jesus. What most hollywood evangelists have forgotten today is that Jesus had to die before He was resurrected and death is no game, especially when there is so many dainty offers out there........Gensis 19:26, Matthew 4:8, 9.
What do you have today.........fool's gold or gold refined in His furnace?......fool's gold is laodecian gold, this is froth and bubble, show and shine, gloss and glitter that can never make wise................Revelation 3:17
God's gold is pure white garments, no shame of sin because you are not in sin you are holy and eyes to see the way He / Jesus sees things. Example.........Solomon and all his glory is not to be compared with one of Jesus wild flowers, plants, maybe even daisy.......glory halleluyah!....Revelation 3:18. Are you poor or rich?..forget the games and get real, be serious, be sober, for the days we live in are evil and satan is a master of disguise.........amen. P.S..........whether it be lack of attention you suffer from or just plain old insecurity Jesus is willing to help you but are you willing to be helped?......

I AM THE WAY

Jesus said I am the way and I am was.........before Abraham, this is thus says the Lord, therefore infallible, absolute and unchangeable. This is the incredible character of my Jesus, He is perfect. And He said we too will be perfect just as our Father in heaven is if we do what He says...........Matthew 5:43-48.

Satan the devil, the deceiver, the serpent of old....tells people that they could never be holy, perfect and pure, satan says its impossible but Jesus says if you follow Me / I am the way.........you will be holy, perfect and pure.

When Jesus says said I am the way, He basically said that all other ways lead to darkness, hellfire and destruction of the soul for eternity. The religious leaders of Jesus's day didn't like to hear this. The way of Jesus was spoken as narrow, in fact.....Jesus said the way is narrow. What did society really think of Jesus the Christ?...let us search the scriptures.......

He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows and aquainted with grief and we hid as it were our faces from Him.....he was despised and we did not esteem Him.........Isaiah 53:3

Isaiah the prophet provides the whole of the existing world with the truth about the Christ / Messiah. Men and women, despised Him, they didn't want to talk to Him / their creator and they gave Him no favours, no high position in the earth.....no my friend, Jesus was no flamboyant, flattering, church leader. They esteemed Him not!..........they treated Him like a leper.
