FAITH * HOPE * LOVE

These three abide but do we abide in them?

The greatest of these is .. love, says the apostle Paul. And the greatest of the new testament commands is to .. love .. the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, strength and mind .. Matthew 22:37,38.

We shall always be unhappy, defeated, bound by sin, living in the past and unable to accept ourselves and others until we start to .. abide in the three substances above. Abide means to live in or to dwell.

Our faith should be in Him/Jesus, our hope must be in Him/Jesus and our love must be Him/Jesus as number one and when this is, you will rejoice exceedingly far beyond any unsaved billionaire ... glory! ..John 8:30-32.

Faith, hope and love are just sitting there for you and me to abide in, relish in and take solace in .. providing it is all aimed at Him/Jesus.

It is no doubt true, that love is the greatest. I have never experienced anything in all my life to be compared with loving Him first and foremost (obedience to Him/Jesus).

Those who are troubled within are not abiding in the substance that abideth .. love. Jesus didn't give us two commands and then tell us that we don't have to keep them, neither did He make it optional... it’s a command.

Jesus gave us two simple commands so that we may rejoice exceedingly throughout our stay here on planet earth.. amen?.. When Jesus is number one on your list of daily loves, you shall want for no good thing. You shall be full and filled overflowing with joy, able to overcome the powers of darkness in high places and fight the good fight set before you .. halleluyah!.. Glory to Jesus!

Just as one Corinthians chapter thirteen says, you shall be fully furnished when you abide in love/obedience to the victor emmanuel. The greatest thing you will and can do is to love Him/Jesus and then the greatest gift of all shall be yours to walk in distribute, relish in, abide in and know .. love!

It was the greatest surprise of my entire life.. when I put Jesus first and picked up my cross, denied myself of sin and followed Him. I experienced this love that abides no where else except in Him. His love totally drowned out all that was troubling me and troubles me this very day.. amazing grace!

And now abides faith, hope, love, these three but the greatest of these is love... are you abiding in these three today?.. amen.
