ABUNDANT LIFE?
Abundant life.. is translated by the prosperity preachers and
teachers of the world as plenty of money, houses, lands and in general a worldly
appearance of success. The promises of these peddlers of the bible can by no means be
aligned with the promises of the living God/Jesus the Christ.. 1 Timothy 6:3-8.
The Copelands, Hinns, Hickeys, Meyers, Creflo Dollars, Savelles and the tag along (would
be's if they could be's) all sing the same chorus .. the devil wants you to be poor. Satan
doesn't want you to be rich because if your rich you are then able to win the world for
Christ. Many shall be influenced by the glitter, gloss, success and fortune you have
gathered and they too will want to know that Jesus you talk about .... Lord have
mercy!.. 1 Timothy 6:5.
Let me endeavour to explain what Jesus meant when He said that He came to give abundant
life. He was and is wanting still this very day to make this life we now live full of His
presence and increasingly full and overflowing with His glory.. unto eternity. Quickening
our mortal bodies in this life by the electric, energising, joy filling, power enduring,
peace providing, life sustaining and revelation giving presence of holy ghost ... sound
like abundant life?
And this is what satan/the devil, serpent of old wants to rob you of and he is capable of
this by leading you into sin/disobedience to God ... hello?
Life has nothing to do with possessions says the Lord .. Luke 12:15.
To associate money, gold, silver, possessions, position and earthly power with the .. abundant
life statement of the Christ.. would be to make God less than what He really is . .
He is more than enough! ... Hebrews 11:6.
He alone is more than enough for any true follower. Listen to what the psalmist
said .. for a day in your courts is better than a thousand, I would rather be a doorkeeper
in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness. This is what the psalmist
was saying .. One day with God is greater than 1,000 days anywhere else upon the earth,
did you here me (anywhere else) whether that be luxury or beauty. The psalmist
also said just to stand in the entrance of Gods House is better than to live in the midst
of the wealth and wicked pleasures of the wicked of the world. This is what I am trying to
say .. abundant life is from above and not from this earth.. Psalm 84:1-12.
Hence I call the .. Word of Faith Teaching/Prosperity Teaching of mere men and women a lie
and from the deceiver satan the snake. Satan has always tried to tell the world that Jesus
can not satisfy hence the gospel of Jesus Plus was sent out into the world to
deceive many a untrained and untaught whose minds are not above but below .. Matthew
4:8-11, Colossians 3:1-11.
Abundant life is spiritual not natural .. supernatural .. John 4:30-34.
