SPASM WORSHIPPERS

Daniel the prophet was an innocent man and one who had done no wrong to anyone. Most people in churches today are ear bashed with the old cliche that if you pray day and night and wish and hope, God will move .. sorry friend. God is not a teller machine, He is a sovereign God.

Have you ever noticed that there is no where recorded in the scriptures that brother Daniel was praying in the lions den. Daniel was wiser than that.. he prayed before the trouble came. He had a relationship with God that was sound every day of the week.. Daniel was no spasm worshipper.

Daniel was innocent and God seen that Daniel was innocent and this is why the lions could not touch him. Daniel was wise as a snake and harmless as a dove... Matt 10:16, Ephesians 5:15, 2 Timothy 3:15.

Formulas have plagued Christendom for decades and none of them work, they make for a good show in the flesh but none of it lasts. There is only one thing that will see you through this jungle called earth and that is a on fire relationship with the Christ on a daily basis and that is done by a walk of obedience.. a calvary walk… Ecclesiastes 12:9-14.. Hebrews 5:9.

Christian book stores have sold billions of dollars in books telling about Prayer and praying and this is the pattern etc but Jesus told His disciples how to pray and it could be summed up in this .. like a child, fullstop!

Prayer conferences are held every day, week, month and year to no avail all because prayer is only a part of the solution. If you read the old testament.. 2 Chronicles 7:14 .. it tells the world what God wants and all the parts must be there ... my people, humility, prayer, seeking Him and there must be a turning from wickedness/sin. If all the parts aren't there your prayer is in vain, it will not even reach the tree tops... Repent today!

Daniels life was right with God he was no spasm worshipper. The word spasm means.. sudden, convulsive burst of activity .. it kind of sounds like the friday night prayer meet at most churches or the Sunday services in Australia.

My bible says that even the wicked king/Darius could see that Daniel was for real. Darius said this .. Daniel servant of the living God, has your God whom you serve .. continually .. been able to deliver you from the lions?

Daniel was a fulltime servant.. a continual servant of God not a spasm servant not a weekend warrior, not a eye servant, not a lip servant but a man who served God continually .. glory halleluyah!.. sweet Lamb of God!.. Acts 10:2.

Are you a spasm worshipper or one who serves God every day?.. amen.
