COME NOW YOU RICH, WEEP AND HOWL FOR YOUR
MISERIES THAT ARE COMING UPON YOU... JAMES 5:1. |
GOD BLESSED ME OR I BLESSED ME?
These rich souls that brother James is talking about here no
doubt are inside the Christian church (Jewish). His words are very much strong and without
partiality, they were God inspired
. James 1:9-11, 2:1-4.
We read of Jesus watching on at offering time, in the gospel of Luke 21, verses
1-4 and we find that Jesus was happy with only one, out of all the givers and that one was
a poor widow. Jesus sees all things, He saw the rich and He saw the old widow. I have said
this many times before but I shall say it again, when I finally get to heaven . . I want
to meet this poor widow, she impresses me
Luke 16:14,15, Colossians 3:1,2.
She had faith!.. She didnt hang onto what she had just in case God ran out
of money. God don't need money, nor do real faith people, they have a Holy Ghost assurance
that He will provide. Faith people arent bogged down with coins or the cares of this
short life, they ride high on the love that Father shows to them through His grace. James
is talking to wicked ,wealthy people of God who became wealthy at the expense of others.
He talks in a way that would have us believe that it was too late for repentance, is it
ever too late?... can you find James saying repent and be forgiven?
These rich Christians lived on the earth in pleasure and luxury ,they also were fattened
up real good
do you know any ministers or churches that fit this description. This
word of saint James suggests that God/Yah was angry with these ones and was going to
slaughter them.. Acts 5:4.
You have fattened your hearts as in a day of slaughter.. James 5:5.
I do understand that many would have this writing said as a word to the people of the
world or unbelieving Jews, but didnt Jesus say that we have nothing in judging
outside the house ?.. 1 Corinthians 5:9, Revelation 3:17.
These greedy rich were but covetous, they were oppressors of the poor, just like
we see in the world today. Millionaire church leaders made shine by the moneys of the
basic laborer, the poor and the common man. They are fed the story that they too one day
shall be rich in gold and silver just as these oppressors. These people were bent on
earthly riches, they would have tried anything that made for riches of the earth
James
2:5, 2 Peter 2:2,3.
All over the world and in the churches of the earth we have supposed men of God, some call
themselves prophets and they brag/spruik about reading books written by worldlings/pagans
on how to make money, get rich and succeed in the corporate world. Then these men and
women get into a pulpit each Sunday and talk about faith in God, denial and the humble
savior Jesus of Nazareth.
Ill let you make your own decision about James 5:1-6 but I will leave you
with these words.. Jesus is coming to judge!.. amen.
