THE POWER TRIP OR THE HUMBLE WALK???

JESUS once said to the leader and teacher of Israel, Nicodemis…do not marvel that I say, you must be born again...John 3:7.
                                                                                                                                                                         
Marvel…can mean, amazing…we always marvel or wonder why, when we walk not with GOD Almighty.

It does not move me or amaze me that the poor are oppressed or that justice and the truth are being suppressed on a daily basis, all because the world and those who will to join in are all on a power trip…power, power, power!

People on a mission to conquer everything and everyone, except their own selfish lusts. We are either of the power trip team or the humble walk team.....Micah 6:8.

    The people of the power trip team are in fact the insecure, selfish, proud, ignorant and discontented ones. The people of the humble walk team are somewhat the reverse…totally secure, selfless and wise, they have learnt to be content with food and clothing and glory in the fact that their names are written in the Book of Life.

THEN THE SEVENTY RETURNED WITH JOY SAYING…LORD!…EVEN THE DEMONS ARE SUBJECT TO US IN…YOUR NAME.

JESUS SAID…DO NOT REJOICE IN THIS, THAT THE SPIRITS ARE SUBJECT TO YOU BUT RATHER REJOICE BECAUSE YOUR NAMES ARE WRITTEN IN HEAVEN.......LUKE 10:17,20.

FOR WHERE YOUR HEART IS, THAT IS SURELY YOUR TREASURE.

What did Jesus say to His men on their return?…so that they would not become…power trippers!

To remember that your name has been written in heaven, is enough to lead any soul into a walk of humility.

This one simple but great revelation or realisation has infinite capabilities in our Christian lives. Only GOD Himself is able to determine the outcome of one who would live everyday with that one fact in mind.

MY NAME IS WRITTEN IN HEAVEN! …SELAH!

 Instead we only hear the moans and groans, the wishes and the wants, the if’s and the should be’s. We have had all the secret potions, courses, seminars and new ideas run through the churches like a snake through the grass and still the lethargic, dead, unsure, greedy, compromised attitude lingers on. Let us try GODS way for a change and see what happens?

It is clear to see that the devil has blinded many to the realisation of what it really means to have your name written in heaven. Once we do realise we are then able to accept all things in our lives and by faith in Christ, overcome. HE WHO OVERCOMES…SHALL BE CLOTHED IN WHITE GARMENTS AND I WILL NOT…BLOT OUT HIS NAME FROM THE BOOK OF LIFE BUT I WILL CONFESS HIS NAME BEFORE MY FATHER AND BEFORE HIS ANGELS. REVELATION 3:5...........AMEN.
