OH! .. THAT I HAD IN THE WILDERNESS .. A
LODGING PLACE FOR WAYFARING MEN .. THAT I MIGHT LEAVE MY PEOPLE AND GO FROM THEM .. FOR
THEY ARE ALL ADULTERERS AN ASSEMBLY OF TREACHEROUS MEN ……… JEREMIAH 9:2.
SOLITUDE AND SOCIALISING
Jeremiah was no doubt a true prophet of God/Yah .. and we see in this very scripture
that Jeremiah's attitude was that he believed that he would be far better off dwelling
among beasts than among the professed people of God.
Socialising is the chief time consumer of Christendom in today's world. If the churches of
Australia spent more time trying to relate to Jesus Christ, the communities would finally
come to see that .. they are wasting their time, money and life in the world's rat
race.
Jeremiah didn't really care to fellowship with the people of God, for the simple reason ..
they were intoxicated with sin and treachery, adultery and last but by no means least,
rather, chief of their sins .. unfaithfulness toward God……2 Corinthians
6:11-18.
This scripture we are reading today will no doubt come to be a common oracle in the hearts
of the holy remnant as we run towards the divine finishing line, to purchase the prize ..
the crown of life .. lawlessness will abound!
Compromise will increase, brother will rise up against brother, children will discount the
respect due to their own parents and elderly. Women will desire no longer to respect their
own husbands and men will cheat on their wives. Churches will for the most part be bogged
down with commerce and the affairs of the world, rather than the ministry of Jesus
….. 2 Timothy 2:1-4.
And satan is happy to see that the people of God have fallen in love with the world
and it's .. goodies ...Matthew 4:9+10.
Jeremiah was wanting out, at this time in his ministry. He had, had these people up to the
neck .. he gave them the words of God, they nodded their heads, as one who understands but
they were void of understanding and they reaped the fruit of stubbornness .. the
darkening of the mind.
It is simply amazing how God's sweet word tells us that true ministers will experience the
same treatment, seasons and response in all ages, as well as the 21st century. And it will
never change .. Ecclesiastes 1:9.
Now I have a greater understanding of what was meant by the verse:
A PROPHET HAS NO RESPECT IN HIS OWN COUNTRY …MATTHEW 13:57.
Many like to target and even condemn God's ministers and church leaders in the world
today, because they pull the congregation into line and at times get angry with the hard
and stubborn in the churches. But by the scriptures, we come to see that these things
happened to the greatest of God's men, therefore it's not the end of the world if you do
your block .. pastor, teacher, prophet, evangelist, apostle but it is reality!
Thank God for His perfect word, that delivers us from all that the devil satan, would try
to dumb upon us. Jesus says .. if you abide in My word, you shall be my disciple and the
truth shall make you free .. Ephesians 4:26.
Vengeance is the Lords .. amen.
