RUBBISH TIN FAITH!

The very first thing we must understand here is .. James is talking to brethren and he is also talking about .. salvation.

One man tried to convince me that the letter of James wasn't written to any other than the twelve tribes. But I firmly believe that all scripture is profitable .. 2 Timothy 3:16,17.

Faith without works is dead, James says. I believe that if our faith doesn't Bear-the fruit of obedience toward God that faith is useless and we are not able to please God .... or be saved from hell fire.. Hebrews 11:6.

It would be like a man/woman who continually tells a football team that they are supporting them and never does that person attend any of the ball games nor do they contribute to the upkeep of the teams needs. This type of person is basically deceiving themselves .. they are self deceived.. James 1:22.

Intentions count for naught but action pays divine dividends. It was by His, Fathers grace that enabled all to come. It was by faith that He/Father gives, that we are able to walk the walk .. the narrow path but it is also by the choice of obedience that we are able to fight the fight ... Luke 13:22-24.

Not the works of the hands but the act of the will .. a spiritual work, the work of obedience. Jesus said, why do you call Me your Lord and disobey Me?.. there is no greater work a person can perform than the work of obedience. You may build empires, become religions favourite, work miracles, but without true devotion to Jesus we are zero. The one thing that God asks and few are willing to provide is obedience. If we didn't have Holy Ghost we could say it is impossible, we are not able, we are but humans but He Holy Ghost enables the weakest to obey. Not by our might or power but by His Spirit, is what Jesus says .. thus says the Lord!

The outworking of the holy remnant is a striving not a seeking but a striving to enter the narrow gate. Not a lazy, hazy, half hearted effort but a diligent contending, they fight the fight. They don't say a prayer sit in a chair and expect to one day arrive at the door of their mansion.

Faith without works says .. faith without change. But how can we walk with Jesus the Christ and not change? ... Matthew 18:3-5.

Faith that is ultimately given by God and then neglected, can only birth destruction. How shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him .. Hebrews 2:3 .. He who has an ear let him hear!
