After my wife received the Joyce Meyer Magazine/April, 2001 issue, my first reaction was have a barbeque and use the mag for the fire. It was then that I decided to make use of it by looking at some of the teachings of this very popular word of faith teacher. God has taught me in 14 short years that you can make use of even error if we ask Him for wisdom.

I want to place this message under the heading of 2 Corinthians 11:14.15. And it says:

AND NO WONDER!.. SATAN HIMSELF TRANSFORMS HIMSELF INTO AN ANGEL OF LIGHT THEREFORE IT IS NO GREAT THING IF HIS MINISTERS ALSO TRANSFORM THEMSELVES INTO MINISTERS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS .. WHOSE END WILL BE ACCORDING TO THEIR WORKS ...

Most of us have heard of what went on in the garden of Eden. The story of the serpent and the wife of Adam. That very story was twisted and has been twisted for hundreds of years to make Adam the deceived one and not Eve but scripture never lies and it says Eve was deceived.. I Timothy 2:14.

Emasculated ministers are on the climb within church ranks and jezebel is making headway on the stages of the religious world.

Paul the apostle said that we should not wonder .. if satan is ordained and approved of and applauded in the pulpits of churches as a minister of righteousness, whether that be male or female.. 1 John 4:18.

Most would think me to be unfair to even think for one moment that a very popular and well liked woman such as J.M.. would be used of the evil one satan. No my friend, not even J.M... is exempt from such a usage. What did Jesus say to one of His prize apostles?..

GET BEHIND ME SATAN.. YOU ARE AN OFFENCE TO ME, FOR YOU ARE NOT MINDFUL OF THE THINGS OF GOD ..BUT THE THINGS OF MEN .. MATTHEW 16:23.

By the way, Jesus the Christ was talking to Peter in this encounter. This is a very sobering read and has always caused me to look to see what people, whether in the church or outside .. whether professed minister or pew warmer what they are mindful of. Keyword being mindful.

Mindful.. as I perused through the Joyce Meyer/Life in the Word Mag.. I continually noticed that Joyce was the star of the mag and not Jesus, the majority of the mag was mere adverts of J.M./self .. her meets, her books and I believe her new headquarters and brother Dave was somewhere there in the mist of the background. Except when Dave Meyer came forth with his nuggets of wisdom as he tried to convince the reader that America's foundation was .. believe it or not .. the holy God of Israel. I was always led to believe that Jesus was the foundation of the Church and all true followers. .. however, God is doing a new thing .. they say.

On reading the finer print of page 15/bottom right hand corner, I seen that Joyce was advertising for job opportunities ..being mindful of course that this mag was supposedly a .. Faith Mag ..promoting faith in God and trust in His provision and in the power of prayer. Hardly anything a John Bunyan or a George Mueller, let alone a Paul, Peter or John the Baptist would have their name upon .. Joyce's mag at large was no better than the junk mail that is stuffed into letter boxes day after day. Come, buy, you need help, bonza reductions, you must be there and the beat goes on... 2 Peter 2:3.

What I mean by that is this ..

Joyce's headline message was about .. Gods loving grace.. and it narrowed down to the usual .. OSAS doctrine, say a prayer sit in a chair and go to heaven teaching. Joyce finished her article by saying .. receive His grace and enter His rest!.. Joyce, there is no rest in sin, compromise or lukewarm living... Jeremiah 6:16,17.

There will only be the presence of condemnation and fearful destruction if we do not what He/Jesus says .. Romans 8:1 * Hebrews 10:26,27.

Joyce .. this is only my opinion as a writer and a man of God but all I could give you on a scale from 1-10 for your mag would be three. One for effort, one for the beautiful colours you used and one for making it clear to all true followers of the Christ that it is .. J.M. Ministries, held together by business principles which rely upon the ignorance and failures of babes in the Christ, who have grown to hunger for mammon.

The cover spread of the Christ was nothing short of rebellion.. Exodus 20:4

Joyce, like many and most money makers and shifty sales people in the church structures in the world, your whole message tells this preacher one singular thing .. you try and do succeed to tell people, that they need your books and your products in order to know how to prosper and be happy but Jesus makes you a liar.. through Colossians 2:10.

There is no book in the world that can give victory to any person only the holy bible . . the unadulterated word of God/Yah.. the bible obeyed!

To be honest with you it makes me want to vomit to see the marketing of the Word in the world today and my only farewell to such a woman as Joyce Meyer is what God Himself placed in my heart as I picked up the magazine called .. life in the word .. and it was ...

YOU HAVE TURNED MY FATHERS HOUSE INTO A DEN OF THIEVES!

Question?.. What is Joyce Meyer really mindful of?.. purchase one of her magazines and you will see for yourself.. it is magnified by Holy Ghost.

P.S. .. Has Joyce Meyer really had a face lift?.. If this is true, she is in bondage to the flesh, vanity and is not free yet preaches a message of faith and liberty while she herself remains in a spiritual prison ... 2 Peter 2:18,19.
