As a preacher and teacher of His
word I have encountered many peoples whilst standing on city sidewalks for around fifteen
years now and few be they who call themselves christian that really understand what I am
supposedly doing on the streets of the world... Revelation 19:11-16, 1 Corinth 14:7,8.
Most who come to me usually say, are you doing any good here?.. my reply is, His word
never returns void friend. People think that because you stand on a street preaching about
Jesus, hell and heaven .. that you are trying to save people and convert them to a
denomination of one religion or another, they are so wrong. Ignorance is rich in
today's world and churches.. 1 Thessalonians 1:6-10.
Father clearly shows me that some warn, some work, some water, some plant and some reap.
So how can anyone say to another are you doing any good here?
There are many stuffing peoples into their buildings today and these peoples are by no
means saved just emotionally rescued for a season.
Our hearts are like fields and many have stony, dry, thorny and muddy hearts that need to
be dealt with. What needs to be done in Australia is .. people need, they may not want but
they need to have their hearts ploughed with the unadulterated uncompromised infallible
word of God. This rarely happens in church structures today but God is not limited to
brick and mortar. He/Jesus makes way for divine appointments in peoples lives, for His
plan to begin, be carried out and finished to the fullest... Jeremiah 23:16-29.
It is ridiculous to ask the preacher on the city sidewalks .. are you doing any good?..
for only Father knows the answer to that question. Listen to this ...
- SO SHALL MY WORD BE THAT GOES FORTH FROM MY
MOUTH IT SHALL NOT RETURN TO ME, VOID...
BUT IT SHALL ACCOMPLISH WHAT I PLEASE ..
AND IT SHALL PROSPER IN THE THING FOR WHICH I SENT IT .. ISAIAH 55:11
Can you see that no man or woman may
predict what will be the results of the preached word. No man or woman can rightfully say
you are wasting your time in preaching the word of God on the city sidewalks, on the
aeroplane, in the shop across the road or in the hair salon. That person would be and
is ...
1... FOOLISH
2... IGNORANT
3... FAITHLESS
4... WARPED IN THE MIND
5... AND UNABLE TO PLEASE GOD ALMIGHTY.
We have multitudes of souls in religious
establishments today who are but fields that yield naught. They don't water, they don't
plough, they don't reap they don't work for Jesus and neither do they think twice about
Him after the Sunday Church Service is through.. these are they that will grind their
teeth and curse God on the day of The Lord... Luke 13:6-9.
I have ploughed the hearts of people for years and seen not anything for years but by the
power of holy ghost I am assured that all is well and have learned to put my trust in the
unseen rather than the seen ... Habakkuk 3:17-19.
The question is how was the heart of the man who had the good ground good?.. by the grace
of God and His word, nothing to do with man, buildings, intellect or bedside manners ... John
1:13, Jude 22-25, Luke 8:15. A contrite heart is good
ground.
Most peoples sitting in churches today are not necessarily sitting there all because of
that particular denomination or church leader, they are most probably there because of the
hard labour, watering and preaching of those who aren't even associated with that
denomination in any way. However, people in their ignorance like to take the conceited
attitude of most in the world today and say .. I was the one who prayed for this or that
.. hence it happened... Acts 8:35-39.
Yes, Father answers prayer but let us not try to put our religious stamps on the foreheads
of people, thinking in ignorance that people sit in such a building at such a time each
week all because of the greatness of that denomination or you will surely come to find
that the very one you laughed at and mocked and counted as a loser .. was a Joseph
.. hence God in His supernatural strategic omniscience planned it so.. glory to the Lord
Jesus the Christ!.. John 10:20.
There are two basic ways of doing anything .. mans way or Gods way and let me say
by His grace and Spirit .. after fifteen years of preaching and ploughing this servant of
God feels as fresh as I did in the beginning and I would never trade what I have
encountered on the sidewalks for anything in this wicked world. I know this one thing ..
this preacher has no plans of leaving his post unto death unless of course my master comes
for me on the clouds, it is then I shall retire and rest with Him forevermore.. Luke
12:35-40... amen.
