46And Mary said,
my soul doth magnify the Lord, 47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my
Saviour. 48For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold,
from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed. Luke 1:46-48.
Dear reader,
I ask you who do you pray to?
Well let me show you from God's holy Word that if you pray to God the Father via anyone
but the Lord, Jesus Christ then your prayers are in vain. Many today pray to Mary to
mediate for them to God, not realizing that Mary was just a woman that was born in sin the
same as we all were, she was in need of a saviour as much as any of us mere men. Just read
the above verse from Luke, even Mary herself said that God was her saviour. God gave
favour to Mary because she was a faithful servant and not because she was born free from
sin! "Read Romans 3:23". Mary also went to the temple after the birth of Jesus
to make an offerinf of sacrifice for purification, yet the Roman Catholic Church teaches
that she was pure.........read Luke 2:22-24.
5For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the
man Christ Jesus; 6Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. 1
Timothy 2:5-6
Jesus showed us in his ministry that Mary was a woman he regarded no more than
any other, as a matter a fact in the following verse Jesus/God says that his mother,
brother and sister are those that follow him. Mary and the rest of His earthly family had
no priority when it came to getting His attention and he rebuked them saying only those
that do His will, will get His attention. Are you doing His will?
46While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his
brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him. 47Then one said unto him,
Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee. 48But
he answered and said unto him that told him, who is my mother? And who are my brethren? 49And
he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my
brethren! 50For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven,
the same is my brother, and sister, and mother. Also read Luke 8:19-21, Mark 3:31-35.
Dear friend if you are in the Roman Catholic faith/church and have not picked up a bible
to read then I urge you now to do so, lest you be led astray by the lies that are being
taught to you! Jesus said, I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one
comes to the Father but through me. (John 14:6). When the disciples asked
Jesus, "Teach us to pray," the first thing He said was "when you pray, say Our
Father" and not Hail Mary!!!! And as for praying to statues have you
read the commandments of God? 3Thou shalt have no other gods before
me. 4Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any
thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water
under the earth: 5Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for
I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the
children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; 6And
showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. Exodus
20:3-6.
Further more listen to what Jesus said about praying with repetition such as the rosary;
7But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for
they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Matthew 6:7.
Jesus calls those thatpray in that manner heathen, come friends take heed to the Word of
the Lord and repent and find favour in His sight before it's too late, do not listen to
fables from mere men, your religious tradition cannot save your soul, but
Jesus can.
7Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the
commandments of men. 8For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the
tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.
Mark 7:7-8. Sound familiar?
Friend it's your choice you can follow what man says (the Roman Catholic institution) or
what God says (Holy bible)! As for me I've made my choice and Jesus is the one I obey, and
only those that are obedient truly love Him. Glory to God.
