It doesn't say that the devil
will casually walk away from you, it says he will
flee-run away from you. When the disciples of the Christ
submit to the doctrine, teaching of the Lord and I
mean walking in it, we are a people to be reckoned with,
we are no push over.
Submitting to, obeying God, is the only
way that we are able to resist the devil, all other
means are fruitless, aimless even religious and in vain.
And it doesn't mention submitting to any human, Buddha,
Mohammed, Chrisna, the Pope, Mary - deceased or any
religion of men or women, it says subject yourself to,
obey God- Jesus the Christ. If we search the scriptures
daily as the Bereans did, stay under his
teaching-doctrine-wings, believe him - do his word, be
mindful of God in all things, remain in fellowship sweet
with him and trust him with all our heart, soul,
strength and mind, the devil must flee from us. The
Word of God which is no lie, says in our scripture today
that he/the devil .....'will flee'.......ref/Matthew
23:37, 38, 1 Timothy 2:5-7.
If you are having trouble with the devil today, the
answer is here in this very scripture of Saint James.
But how many today want to submit to God, obey the Word
of God, humble themselves under the mighty hand of
God?.....only those, who would be wise/obedient can
be saved from the claws of the devil and eternal hell -
fire.........click.
If you are living in known-sin and unwilling to repent
and turn, if you are double-minded, fellowshipping with
Jesus on Sunday and the Devil on Monday or if you are
looking for the easy way out of devilish conflict, you
will never be able to resist the devil and he will
overtake you every time without fail, the end thereof
being eternal hell-fire.
Humility is the only cure, actually, humility is a
prevention and better than any temporary cure of
humanity. It is a humbling thing to submit to God,
to do what he says, because all men and women are born
in sin-sinners therefore proud to the bone and in effect
know-alls, who really know nothing of any eternal
weight, myself included. It is really only when we come
to Father through Jesus his son, born-again of God's
Spirit and the incorruptible seed/the Word of God that
we begin to know, have any knowledge of any weight and
any goodness............click.
The fear of God, meaning Reverence-Respect-Praise
for God is the beginning of true wisdom and Jesus the
Christ is the only wise God, the God of All
Knowledge, he is Omniscient, all knowing. Humble
yourself under the mighty hand of God-Jesus the Christ,
obey/do the Word of God, the doctrine of the Christ so
that you may be able to stand the wiles of the devil and
he will flee, it is 'guaranteed buy God himself'
said Saint James......click.
When we do what Jesus says he lifts us up above the
situations we face daily, we soar like eagles,
travelling over our obstacles by faith in the son of
God-Jesus the Christ. Without Jesus as our lord and
shepherd, we have nowhere to turn, for the wicked-sinful
man and woman have no helper but the righteous
ones-saints-disciples of the Christ have the lord of
lords. That is if they are born-again, water baptized
and willfully and lovingly submitted to the Word of
God...........ref/Psalm 1119:155.
THOSE WHO WAIT ON THE LORD, SHALL RENEW THEIR STRENGTH,
THEY SHALL MOUNT UP WITH WINGS LIKE EAGLES, THEY SHALL
RUN AND NOT BE WEARY, THEY SHALL WALK AND NOT
FAINT...............REF/ISAIAH 40:31. |

This is not so with the stubborn
and the foolish person, they may hear the word of God
but they do not do it. This one can not be saved from
sin, self, satan, the wrath of God or eternal-hell
fire....ref/1 Samuel 2:3, Matthew 7:24, 26, Hebrews
