DUNG.. EXCREMENT OF ANIMALS

This section of the scriptures is headed up as .. fools for Christ's sake, being made a spectacle in front of the world and angels. As you look around the world today and consider the position of church leaders both great and small .. would you be able to say that they are considered as filth in their community or city?.........Luke 6:24-26.

THE WORD OFFSCOURING CAN MEAN .. REFUSE, FILTH OR DREGS.. (CONCISE OXFORD DICT.)

The word .. refuse .. in the same dictionary means, rejected as worthless. The Collins compact dictionary says .. rubbish or useless matter. Now that we understand what Paul and other apostles were seen as I believe that the holy remnant can once again breathe and sing sweet halleluyahs to Him who is seated on high .. Jesus the Christ... Isaiah 53:2,3.

As I searched a little more into what kind of reception the apostles of old received while they lived upon the earth I found this in a bible dictionary.. by T.A.Bryant. Offscouring .. word for sweepings, scraping, dung.

Yes, it is true that most and many have had their ears massaged with a soft soap sermon each week at their temples they treasure so much and all to no avail.

Most church goers and their leaders suffer a .. identity crisis .. when it comes to the core of true christianity, they somehow have been bewitched by the lenient language of Lucifer the fallen angel/Satan, who says.......

Jesus suffered so you don't have to, Paul the apostle suffered so you don't have to. But Paul says.. imitate me!... 1 Corinth 4:16,2 Corinth 11:1-4.

And again he/Paul says ..I send Timothy to remind you of my ways in Christ as I teach everywhere in every church ... 1 Corinth 4:17.

Now for the framing of this picture of true discipleship, many have been shown a phoney portrait of christianity, the Christ, the apostles, the prophets, the road to the celestial city, and the conditions of salvation but I say.

If you do decide to imitate Paul as he imitated the Christ you too will be seen as dung, the filth of the world and the offscouring of all things. Is this the way you are seen in the world and by men?.. Matthew 5:11,12.
