O, JERUSALEM, O JERUSALEM, THE ONE WHO KILLS THE PROPHETS AND STONES THOSE WHO ARE SENT TO HER!… HOW OFTEN I WANTED TO GATHER YOUR CHILDREN TOGETHER, AS A HEN GATHERS HER CHICKS UNDER HER WINGS BUT YOU WERE NOT WILLING!… SEE, YOUR HOUSE IS LEFT TO DESOLATE… MATTHEW 23:37,38.

DESOLATE MEANS... MINUS YESHUA!

Jesus is lamenting for the Jews, they rejected His offer and their house was left to them desolate.

Desolate!… can mean any of the following… neglected, barren, ruinous, dreary or dismal, even overwhelmed with grief.

When we think of the word desolate, we automatically imagine in our minds, the lack of people or houses without people in them. I firmly believe that the word desolate here relates to the absence of the presence of God Almighty/Yahweh!

When God ain't in a church there must be something and someone to fill the gap, so to speak, or at least try to fill the gap.

Music is a big draw card in the entertainment industry and also in the world of advertisement…TV… radio and internet alike. Virtually nothing is sold, promoted or pushed without music in today's world to prop it up.

Music appeases the wildest of beasts, so they say. King David, was the one who played his harp in order to bring peace to the distressed King Saul… 1 Samuel 16:23.

But as we read the newspapers, watch the news on TV. and listen to the radio, the whole world witnesses the …desolate… situation of Jerusalem, the Jews and Israel today… Jesus said, your house will be left to you desolate!… and so it is, for now.

Jesus has knocked at the doors of many churches, denominations, religious organisations and ministries, houses and businesses and very few, if any, have opened the door. Men and women love their denominations, religions and their money making doctrines more than Jesus, therefore their houses shall be left to them desolate also… music can appease but not save.

Will all the people leave the established church structures in the land?… No!

Jesus will be the one that will not be present at their meets, and that is a huge loss. Their meets will be dreary, dismal, ruinous and barren of the word of God, hence the people will be spiritually neglected, void of truth, therefore void of liberty…the truth sets free.

The Jews have never been short of a song or money, nor have they ceased to meet in the name of Yahweh but Yeshua ain't at their meets, with the exception of the messianic Jews.

I remember when I was a soldier in the Australian Army, in a battalion of 500 men yet I was still lonely, empty and without true peace… I had not Jesus! I was desolate…barren!… If there be a church, ministry, house or marriage, business or relationship where Jesus is not permitted to be Master, Lord and God… it will be desolate!

No matter how much hype, pomp, music, no matter how many fill the seats and no matter how much they brag of what they have… they are desolate!…and God will call them desolate for Jesus is the treasure, joy, attraction, peace and majority.

Revelation 3:14-22… amen.
