'ONCE BORN....ALWAYS BORN'

1. Man, though once 'born' of the Word and Breath of God, and told that disobedience would mean death, chose to believe the word of the devil.....
   
   ..........'(Once born) ye shall not surely die.' (Genesis 3:4.)
    
2. And with that lie the human race has be en 'dying' ever since...by the same backslithering serpent, though in ecclesiastical clothing! telling is the same thing....
   
   ..........'(Once born) - always born....never can die!'
    
3. And was this not ever the same deceptive cry of Israel when called to account for their backsliding?....the conscience-calmer, whereby they resisted the Holy Ghost, slew the prophets, and became the betrayers and murderers of the Prince of Life!.....
   
   "We are God's unconditionally birth-righted people, birth-children of Abraham...Abraham our birth-father....once born can never be unborn!.....once Israel always Israel!" (e.g. Ezekiel 33:24, Matthew 3:9, John 8:39, 44)
   
   ......Esau revisited!....the first-born pleading for his once-upon-a-time birthright.....now extinct! (Hebrews 12:16-17.)
    
4. But what saith the Scripture to the once-born-people-of-God: 'Why will ye die oh house of Israel!' typing the church, who had a name that they lived, but now were dead ...twice dead...a second time! (Ezekiel 18:31, 33:11, Rev. 3:1, Jude 12.)
    
5. For, 'They are not all 'Israel' who are born 'Israel'......typing the once-born-again! (Romans 9:6 & again Matthew 3:9, John 8:39, 44.)

1. Was it not Jesus Who said, 'A person, having put his hand to the plough and then turns back is not fit for the kingdom of God? (Luke 9:62.)
    
2. Also, does not Scripture say of those who 'having been enlightened, tasted of the heavenly gift, made partakers of the Holy Ghost ('which is given to those who obey God'), and the good Word of God and the power of the world to come,, if they fall away ( and fail to repent), are rejected, and in the end burned!'? (Hebrews 6:4-8.)
    
3. Also, are we not solemnly warned of the grave possibility for one to both 'receive the truth and be sanctified by the blood of Christ, and yet thereafter to sin wilfully (and if unrepentant) to incur God's judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour them as (now) adversaries of God!'? (Hebrews 10:26-29.)
    
4. Or as Jude and Stephen puts it so pointedly: 'I will put you in remembrance (especially as there are those who creep into the church unawares, turning God's grace into that which renders sin less damnable that what it really is), how the Lord having saved Israel out of Egypt, afterward destroyed them....who in their hearts turned back again into Egypt!' (Jude 4,5 Acts 7:39.)
    
5. Or as Paul warns us, that, even he as a preacher could in the end be a castaway, just like Israel in the wilderness. And also, for anyone else who thinks he stands, let take heed less he also fall! (1 Corinthians 9:27-10:12.)
    
6. Or again as Paul says, 'If God broke off Israel -branches from the Israel root-stock (because of their unbelief/disobedience), you who are grafted in need to fear, lest He spare not thee...an example of both the goodness and severity of God....goodness if you continue in His good ness; otherwise you shall be cut off too!' (Romans 11:20-22.)
    
7. Then again, is not the above just as Jesus said: 'Every branch in me (remembering that anyone in Christ is a new creature- 2 Cor. 5:17) which beareth not (good) fruit (Isaiah 5:1-2), He cuts off and casts into the fire and burns!'? (John 15:2, 6.)

SALVATION FOREVER CONDITIONAL

1. 'He who endures to the end shall be saved.' (Matthew 24:13.)
    
2. 'We are made partakers of Christ, if we hold fast the beginning of our confidence, steadfast unto the end.' (Hebrews 3:14.)
    
3. 'Hold fast that which thou hast. Let no man take thy crown.' (Rev. 3:11.)
    
4. 'Nothing can separate me from the love of God in Christ......except sin! (Romans 8:35, Joshua 7:11-12, Isaiah 59:2.)
    
5. It was 'the saints (separated, holy ones)' who were told, 'God Who has begun this work would complete it.....you being filled with the fruits of His righteousness etc.' (Phil. 1:1,6, 9-11.)
    
6. And Jesus said that 'it was His sheep, those who heeded His voice and followed Him, who no one could pluck out of His Father's hand.' (John 10:27-29.)
    
7. And Jude similarly said, that, on the basis of us contending for the no-nonsense faith, (ever remembering how our fathers, though once saved were not always saved, but fell in the wilderness through their unbelief/disobedience); on that basis, Jude said, 'God is able to keep us from failing.' (Jude 3, 6, 20, 21, 24.)
