We have it all in today's 'christendom'.....everything from casting devils
out of (so called) children of God in Nigerian Concerts to miracles that rub off
overnight, even pentecostal popes,....with all the trappings of a little theatre
performance ....click!........click!
I even heard one pentecostal favourite (Reinhardt Bonke) advertising a video on
miracles. All the steps, moves, reasons and maintenance requirements. Something totally
unheard of in the Christ's time and even in established canon. Simply because a miracle is
a miracle and exactly that. Can not be explained, reasoned with or
questioned. There is no strain, grunting or come backs with real miracles.No music
for healing tapes needed neither spoken of in New Testament scripture.
Many with Benny (Hinn) make a good showing in the flesh and that's about it, no
doubt unrecognised by the untrained eye, the unlearned in scripture and the gulls of
society and churched peoples......click.
Which is most probably why he who ascended gave apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers and
evangelists to his congregation, wouldn't you say?........Ephesians 4:10, 11.
Today's, so called great men of God are the poorest, weedy examples of faith, power and
holiness and selfless living that the world has ever had the dishonour to view. Biblical
Faith displays no pricetags or bar codes.
Ben Hinn, a man with so much money rolling in, has now gone backward so far he has a
cardboard, material, timber replicate of the temple courtyard in Jesus day and look alike
plastic surrounds as his back drop for his TV show, 'This is my day!'
And tells the people that this ridiculous backdrop, stage setting (is instrumental)
plays a part in ministering and his ministry. How faithless can you get and still be saved
from hell fire?....click!......click!
* FAITH IS THE SUBSTANCE OF THINGS HOPED FOR THE EVIDENCE OF THINGS NOT
SEEN!...........HEBREWS 11:1.
Did you hear what St. Paul said?.....evidence of things....not seen!......and we
didn't see, see, see....Paul, Peter or Jesus building buildings for the mass revivals to
come did we? And we did not see, see, St Paul, Silas or Timothy with plastic back drops
and Jewish dance groups/gals performing prior to their message to the Saints, reference
1 Corinthians 5:1-13............click.
Neither do we have any report of Messiah's men, apostles, running through the regions of
Israel and beyond with food parcels, pigs on spits and fliers/scrolls with "Picnic
at the Jordan" advertised thereon, prior to bringing their message from the
almighty, holy God - Yahweh - Jesus the Christ, reference Romans 11:22, selah!
We can seriously say without doubt today that there is certainly another Jesus, another
gospel and another spirit operating under the name of salvation and it's available to all
whether Father calls or not...John 17:6-9, John 6:44.
So what would the Ghost of the Christ be saying to the churches, I believe it has to
be......'the show is over'.......even, God forbid that I should glory
except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ by whom the world has been crucified to me
and I to the world.....Galatians 6:14.....selah!.....amen. |
