GOD'S ASSURANCE OF
REJECTION

● Eternal security/God's Assurance.........(snippet
only) |
While we continually confess our sins it is
not to 'obtain' or keep salvation but for cleansing. Our
fellowship with God and his peoples can be hindered and severed
for a time but our union with Christ 'can never' be taken
away. The same one who saves us is the same one who keeps us. If
maintaining our faith for salvation were dependent on us alone
then none of us could be saved. |
|
I believe that no one is able to keep the New
Covenant All The Time and that a person will not lose their
salvation for this kind of (repetitive) behaviour........Mike
Oppenheimer/let us reason.org/Doct8. |
There are as usual a number of things that are out of plumb
here in Michael's Belief System. I find that Mike is yet another poor
and blinded student of that 'filthy Calvin/Spurgeon come Ironside
Doctrine of absolute predestination! God's gunna get you there
sins and all.....click. But we are assured
through scripture that unclean, spotted or
blemished is unsaved, clean, cleansed and spotless from known sin is
saved....Ephesians 5:27.
If we don't confess our sins we obviously go from backslide to backslide,
darkness to darkness and inevitably in the end hell. Therefore if we confess
our sins and are cleansed we are no doubt saved, being saved and believing
to be saved to the uttermost.......click. Is
there really such a thing as union with Christ no matter what your
condition...2 Corinthians 6:14-18.
So if we don't confess our sins to be saved initially and ultimately and in right standing with God
why do the scriptures tell us 'the saved' that we are in an unrighteous position with
God and that the unclean and those in unrighteousness will not be saved or
enter the kingdom?....Ref/1 John 1:9, 1 Corinthians 6:9, Ephesians 5:5, 1
Thessalonians 4:7. And what does 2 Corinthians 7:10 & 2 Peter 3:9.....mean?
The above scriptures are not referring to rewards or simply physical death
and neither are these...John 15:2, Romans 11:22, Hebrews 3:12-15...Selah.
"The one that saves us keeps us"...this quote is selfish. lethargic
and a fowlers snare. it denies and defies canon, ref/1 Timothy 4:16 and 1
Peter 1:5...kept by God 'through faith' (through 'our' obedience).....click.
As for the New Covenant being unable to be kept this is perfectly true for
all men and women who have not (and let not) the paraclete (lead) but there is really no excuse
for 'willful-ongoing-known-sin' once the light has shone on the
heart, is there? The commands of Yahweh are by no means a burden to the
person who has departed from known sin and false doctrine......1 John 5:3, John 14:23, 2
Timothy 2:19, 2 Corinthians 13:5-8...click.
Amen

P.S. How can a soul be saved if they are unclean or lukewarm and don't repent/confess their sin?...2
Corinthians 7:10, Revelation 3:16, 19. Did St.Paul keep the "NT -
FAITH' or not? 2 Thessalonians 1:8, 2 Timothy 4:7.
