"HOMILY AT THE GRIDLOCK"
|There was a
gridlock in Brisbane City this day, bumper to bumper
with a sea of vehicles moving down a major, main
thoroughfare at snails pace, the snail had crutches.
I was my usual self in the Christ, full of joy and
gladness knowing there were victories to be won that
he/Jesus has already won. Preaching repentance and
forgiveness under a fiery anointing.
There were people calling out all over, there was also a
deadly silence smoldering through the thoroughfare, you
could have cut the air with a knife, you could have
heard a pin drop, it was awesome.......click.
Some people called out from their car "over here,
we'll take a book", others simply cursed in
Months later, actually today/12.12.2006 I was
preaching yet again in the same area of the CBD and I
saw a man who I have been meaning to give a book to for
some time now. This same man was at the 'homily',
Today he was sitting in the bus shed looking over at me
very intently, so today I went to him as Father led. He
had a book in his hand, so I offered him a tract as a
book mark, he took it with a smile, so I then gave him a
book, he took it, so I gave him a CD, he took it and
finally I gave him one of JTCM's letters. It was then
that he said smiling..........
there, I can never forget the day I saw you here when
you gave your "Homily At The Gridlock" it was
outstanding, beautifully presented and so timely. You
are an important person you know, you are out here doing
it. This is what it is about. Did you know I have seen
you time and time again but I've never had the
intestinal fortitude to speak to you, well done and I
look forward to reading your book etc".......Paul
